Reciprocating Oil-Free Air Compressors – PET Applications

Ingersoll Rand offers an extensive range of high-pressure reciprocating compressors that are tailor made for high pressure PET blowing applications in the 45 to 261 kW, 120 to 835 acfm range with discharge pressures of 35-40bar(g). 

The units have single-point air, water and electrical connections for easy installation and the 3-stage inline design configuration provides unobstructive access for easy maintenance and operations.

  • Non-lubricated 100% oil free (ISO 8573-1:2010 certified air), water cooled, continues duty cycle rated 
  • Three-stage balanced opposed layout minimizes foundation requirements 
  • Rugged frame design-one-piece cast iron construction. Highly reliable best in class product offering 
  • No lubricated, featuring long-life selflubricating composite wearing components 
  • Cylinders constructed with large cast-in water jackets for dimensional stability under continuous operation 
  • Intercoolers/after coolers selected for optimal 11.2°C (20°F) approach temperature 
  • All internal components and piping are corrosion protected for extended life 
  • Distance pieces feature two compartments, ensuring the lubricant is isolated from the cylinders 
  • Advanced microprocessor-based controller monitors all critical system parameters in real time 
  • All components constructed in accordance with World Standards and stamped as applicable 
  • Three-step capacity control (0-50-100%) can be provided on request
